About Shade Sails
Shade Sails

Shade Sails are the upgrade to the umbrella. They are usually more permanently installed and are made of a high grade fabric that allows some sunlight to peek through and offers warranties between 5 to 10 years. With a wide array of colors available, it will be easy to find a shade sail that matches your outdoor décor. Anchor points are required to install a shade sail, usually ground installed poles, roof lines, walls, or any other object that will hold the tension of the sail. The sail connects to the anchor points with D-Rings in the corners with cables, chains, shackles or turn buckles which create tension, making the fabric taut. With the tension process, shade sails can withstand stronger winds and harsher weather than patio umbrellas, which makes them an excellent choice for areas with inclement weather conditions. Since the shade is installed above the area in need of shading, no floor space is taken up, making them ideal for restaurants, country club and hotels. Shade Sails allow for more space in your outdoor area and protect an area without closing in much of the space, as umbrellas do.

Shade Sails come in all sorts of color, shapes and sizes, making them a dream for designers. Shades vary from 9 to 18 feet, meaning larger areas can be shaded, and can be found in triangular, square, rectangular and even hexagon shapes. With such a large variety of shade sails, it should be no trouble to find a shade to match your outdoor decoration style and turn your outdoor space into your own paradise. If you cannot find the right color, size or shape, custom sails can be made to meet your needs. Shade sails are a great alternative to awnings, umbrellas, carports and patio enclosures.
