I am aspiring to be a proficient graphic designer. A few years ago, I became a father of three and had the opportunity to sail the Seven Sea's in America's Finest Navy. That experience earned me the right to a free education at Eastern Washington University where I'm attempting a BFA in Visual Communication Design.

Reachback Coordinator, US Navy (October 2012 – February 2015)

  • Developed training curriculum and standard operating procedures for incoming trainees resulting in the punctual delivery of more than 1500 products.

  • Advertised capabilities of program to clients resulting in an 20% increase of product requests.

  • Delivered high profile briefs to officers and commanding officers.

  • Created templates that streamlined the product creation process resulting in a 30% decrease in time to complete while simultaneously pleasing customers with a final products that featured better user experiences, both functionally and aesthetically.

Assistant Recruiter, US Navy (August 2012 – October 2012)

  • Spread awareness of mission statement and benefits to potential clients throughout regional schools and businesses.

  • Educated and trained 50 recruits by preparing and executing weekly meetings.

  • Provided government transportation for potential clients to meetings, medical examinations and training sessions.

Meteorological Tech, US Navy (February 2011 – August 2012)

  • Successfully tracked the logging of over 1,500 hours of 4 junior & senior personnel toward two separate trades.

  • Recorded 490 weather observations to produce 1,160 meteorological products that resulted in 70 hours of mishap free flight and well-deck operations.

  • Developed templates used by entire department that impressed audiences and cut the time required to develop briefs by an average of 15 minutes.

  • Demonstrated experimental proficiency by launching 10 weather balloons in order to test the accuracy of forecasts and models.

  • Ensured a secret inventory of 70 items that were accounted for on a daily basis and properly disposed of classified material as necessary.

Courier, DHL (July 2006 – October 2010)

  • Assisted in sorting and dissemination of tens of thousands of lbs of freight resulting in punctual delivery to clients throughout Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.

  • Distributed freight to assigned routes ahead of schedule, resulting in routine volunteering of assistance to co-workers in order to meet deadlines.

  • Redesigned driver routes for maximum efficiency culminating in happier customers and happier employees as freight was dispersed faster and lunches and breaks could be utilized more often.

  • Facilitated training of new employees, demonstrating proficient methods that should be utilized to ensure logistical success.
