Alliances. When considering foreign actions, a few of America’s top allies are the United Kingdom, South Korea, and Japan.
As the power center of the European region, the United Kingdom has always been a part of America’s history. When the United States declared independence from Great Britain a uniquely close connection would eventually be created. Although the U.S. and the UK were enemies during the American Revolution and in the War 1812, when the U.S. defended the UK in World War I and II, a strong bond was formed.
South Korea has always had a major role in the support of the United States as the United States has been to South Korea. The U.S. supported South Korea in the Korean War which truly proved the alliance between the countries. Today, South Korea has gone through enormous amounts of economic, military, and political growth under the support of America. In return, the U.S. has gained possession some extremely important military bases in South Korea while the two nations work together to “keep an eye” on North Korea.	Although it is not widely known the U.S. and Japan have been allies since the late nineteenth century. They had been great trading allies up until the second World War. Following the war, America offered in rebuilding of the nation in exchange for technology and culture information, connecting the very roots of the countries. Nowadays, America and Japan continue to have a helpful relationship economically, culturally, and politically.	Today we need allies to face some of the most threatening challenges facing us today. </p> <h2> A Letter To Rex Tillerson </h2>
<p>So, Rex Tillerson, as you can see, the alliances you decide to capitalize on will make or break the future if the United States. As Secretary of State, it is your job to decide who will stand with us or against ur, and with the right tact, you can decide whether we win or lose a war, improve or worsen our standings financially, and get support while we are in a state of need. So Rex, you may already have your opinion on who we should be allies with, who we should remain allies with, and who we should break ties with. But, you maybe asking, what do you think about alllies? What is your current standing on this critical issue in our society? Well, we think that as a society we need to make sure that our allies are strong economically, have a powerful military, and are politically stable. So, we think that the best possible ally for us at this time would be France. We also believe that Japan would be a useful ally as a great help against the possible danger in North Korea. Places like Great Britain, which are politically unstable, are not good potential allies because their instability can result in unrest and cause them to become useless as allies. However, Rex, I have a question for you. What possible benefits do you see in pursuing a relationship with Russia? After all, Russia and the U.S. have been enemies for a long time now, yet you have expressed clear interest in having a close political relationship with Russia. You have made it clear that you believe it is smart to have a relationship with Russia because they will help us defeat ISIS, but once ISIS is defeated, will you still look at Russia as a beneficial ally to our country. So, Thus, please consider who our allies should be using their status as a country to determine whether or not they should be allies with us. </p>
